How much does a Shopify store cost to build?
It depends on design, custom features, integrations and how much data needs to be migrated. A store on a premium theme costs far less than a fully custom Shopify Plus build. We send a fixed, itemised quote within 48 hours of a free call; the four factors above show what drives the price.
How much does AI development cost?
It depends on what the AI has to do, the data it works with and the systems it connects to. A simple chatbot or automation costs far less than a custom AI product. AI model usage (for example OpenAI or Claude) is a separate running cost, which we estimate with you before you commit.
Fixed price or hourly: which is better?
Both. Fixed price suits work with a clear scope (a new store, a migration, a redesign). Hourly or a monthly retainer suits ongoing work, where priorities change week to week. A dedicated team suits long product builds.
Why don't you show one fixed price for a Shopify store?
Because two "Shopify stores" can be a two-week theme setup or a three-month Plus build with custom apps and ERP integrations. We give you a fixed quote after a short call, broken down by feature, so you can add or remove items and see the price change.
How do payments work on a fixed-price project?
In milestones. You pay a deposit to start, then pay as each agreed milestone is delivered and approved. You can also hire us through Upwork, where payments sit in escrow until you approve each milestone.
Are Shopify apps and theme licences included?
No. Shopify plans, paid apps and premium themes are billed by Shopify or the app or theme maker directly to you, so you own the accounts. We recommend options and tell you the monthly cost before you commit.
What if the scope changes during the project?
We write down the change, tell you the effect on price and timeline, and only start once you approve it. Nothing is added to your bill without a written OK.
